Malignant Lymphoma

Category: 血液ICD-10: C81-C85

Overview

Malignant lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system, classified into Hodgkin lymphoma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma accounts for about 90% of cases. The cause is unknown in most cases.

Symptoms

Painless lymph node swelling is the most common presentation. B symptoms (fever, night sweats, weight loss) may be present.

Diagnosis

Lymph node biopsy with histopathological examination is essential for diagnosis. CT and PET-CT are used for staging. Bone marrow biopsy may be performed.

Treatments

Hodgkin lymphoma is typically treated with ABVD chemotherapy. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma is commonly treated with R-CHOP (rituximab plus chemotherapy). Radiation therapy and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation are used in select cases.

Latest Research & Approaches

CAR-T cell therapy is expanding for relapsed/refractory cases. Bispecific antibodies and novel antibody-drug conjugates are showing promising results.
